5 months later......I'm just now writing a new post! Having and raising a child is hard work!
As hot as this Texas summer has been, I will miss it. Well sort of.....not the heat, but the amazing journey that I've had the pleasure of experiencing.
My journey of being a first time mom/parent, getting to know this little human being that I'm responsible for, for the rest of his life. We never knew how amazing and life changing this "LOVE" for this one child would be.
These past couple of weeks have been filled with new experiences, new skills learned, not only for our little boy but us as parents. I see it more, since I am fortunate enough to be a stay at home mom. Being able to watch this tiny little thing grow and become independent. Laugh at things, hold his bottle, smile at mommy or daddy because he recognizes us, seeing his little personality bloom. It makes my heart smile!
He's been crawling for a couple of weeks now and getting into everything. Trying to pull the cats tails, when he can get close enough to them. He's been pulling himself up now. Eating like a big boy in his high chair. We are doing half pureed/mashed foods and half baby lead weaning. This has been fun and messy at times! He's been having slobberthons, for the past month, on occasion fussiness occurs but no teeth in sight.
His first word has been da-da! Hubby is happy. I'm like hey...I see him 24/7 and all I get is ba-ba (bottle)! Lol, oh well I'm happy, baby is happy that's what matters most.
So, my crafting has been put on the back burner for a while. I have sewn some bibs, I sewed a mei-tai carrier for little one. Now that he's more on a schedule I can get back to sewing more. I have tons of stuff that I want to get started on.
If you still read my blog thank you! Hopefully I'll get a chance to post some more.
Here is my 7 month old! We are deeply and madly in love with this Lil guy! Chubby thighs, big attitude, crazy hair and all! They do grow up so quickly.....
