Pictures and Words Wednesday 6/20 - Stella and Ms. Betty (furbabies)

It's been a while since I posted anything about my fur-babies!!  Here they are living the life!!  Eating and sleeping all day saving up their energy to run up and down the stairs at all hours of the night.....sigh!  Really, they sound like horses galloping up and down, lol.  I know they jump on the counters and the tables when we're asleep, then act all nice and lazy when we're awake.

Who are they fooling?  Nope, not I!

Here is Ms. Betty, she acts all tough and bossy like she's running the show.  But she's just a big baby, literally.  Bring on the thunder and she's at your feet, hiding between the drapes, has her head under the sofa, or sneaking into the pantry like you see in the picture below.  This was yesterday with all the thunder going on yesterday.  I think I need to take her to go see the movie BRAVE.....lol!!  Well this is Ms. Betty and in the next couple of days she's getting her summer hair cut. She's going to transform into Mrs. Bigglesworth.  This kitty is all fur, she looks big but she's really a tiny thing.

This is my sweet  Stella!  She's more laid back, I truly believe she's the boss when it comes to both cats.   Both cats are not lap cats, but Stella can be very loving.  She follows me everywhere I go.  She doesn't have to be next to me but in the same room.  Here she is in the craft room, watching me sew.  She's a big momma, at almost 20lbs.  She gets a trim too, but since she's already a short haired cat you really can't see a difference. 

These are the hags that live with us.  I call them hags because in cat years they are older than me, lol!!

Look who thinks they own everything in the house!  I go downstairs for 10 minutes, and this happens.  

This is Ms. Betty and I caught her asleep in my craft room.  On the table, getting nice and warm with the lamp.

These crazy cats drive me nuts sometimes!!  They follow me everywhere!!  I know they love us but I wish they were lap cats.....they're very fickle and show love when they "feel" like it!! lol!! Oh well!

Oh don't get me wrong I have two adopted cats that I ♥ so much.  I love cats and dogs, and fish and turtles but I would definitely be leaving that cash to some real people. Maybe some less fortunate people!! Yes, this was a rescued stray cat but really $13 mil......I think maybe $100,000 would've been suffice and I'm being generous.

This is just to insane, it hurts my my heart knowing that this cat has all of this! What is he gonna go skiing, visit Hollywood or learn how to speak HUMAN!!  I'm sure this 93 year old lady was super nice and just amazing, but how can you not be aware of poverty. I'm sure there is poverty in Rome.

Still shaking my head on this one.....so unfair!

Ms. Betty and her bad eating habits!!

I introduced my fur-babies a couple of months ago here.   And they both got hair cuts since the pic was taken! So Ms. Betty looks a little different and a lot smaller!

I had a question: Other than their pet food, what else do your pets like to eat? 

My cats are so weird, they love to eat raisins, chocolate, cheese, ranch dressing! Weird huh?

Well I'd like to put Ms. Betty on blast! This cat will wake up from her deep slumber, come down the stairs, stretch and come around if you have ketchup!!! She loves the stuff, she will make a plate of french fries sparkle! How do I know this you ask?  Oh, I had emptied my fries on a plate and drizzled ketchup all over.  I got a call from my mother and had to step into the computer room for a bit. When I came back this darn cat had licked up every single bit of ketchup there was on the fries and plate, she just left me all the licked fries! Gross, lol! It is my fault I left it on the coffee table.

We watched her to make sure she'd be okay....she's fine!  So now we have to keep watch when we're eating  ketchup.  I'll give her a couple fries with ketchup and I don't put them on a plate anymore.

My Fur-Babies

These are my "kids"......I know lame!  But they are!  I just wish they were lap cats!!  They don't like to be held, hugged, kissed, petted - basically loved....lol!  Well actually it's up to them when they feel like cuddling, purring, and getting close to you! So fickle!  They both eat with their paws! I can't give them wet food it would go everywhere.  I have to boobie-trap our bedroom door every night if not they wake us up every morning pawing at the door at like 5:45am for treats....which is really not a treat - it's cat food but it's different from their regular food......I don't know, I just confused myself too. They scoop up their food, throw it in the water, then scoop it out to eat.   Or they play with it like they're in a soccer league, make the goal then eat it!!  WEIRD.....I know!

They're in-door cats, probably wouldn't make it the night if they were left outside!  lol!!  My honey always tells them they're lucky to be alive, they have food to eat, they have reign over the entire house up and down, apart from the bedrooms! Sometimes  I'll sneak Stella in when I take a nap....she'll sleep, Ms. Betty would be jumping on the dresser and be nosey.   When ever the sad SPCA commercials come on, honey will also tell them...."Look, that could be you! or Look, that's probably your mom or sibling!"    lol....I tell him that they have no clue what you're saying!   Oh, well!! lol!

this everyday, everywhere!

And they're big too!!!  Both are at least 17-19 lbs
