Halloween Crafts 2013 - with the nieces and nephews!

WOO-HOO...... next week is Halloween!! 

 

This is just a short post sharing some pictures from Halloween craft day 2013.  We had so much fun.....the kids are always entertaining.  I'm happy that next year we will have baby Vincent to share this experience with his cousins.

 

It was such a nice day out, I decided to do the crafts out on the patio.

 

Let the Halloween crafting begin...

 

 

This years pumpkin theme was "Swamp Thing"!  I'm glad I decided to do this craft outside...can you imagine the mess in the house.  It was so much fun seeing the kids get crafty with all the eyes and giving their creations hair cuts.  Silly kids! Baby Vincent got his very own swamp thing pumpkin too!! 

 

We also made mummy lanterns. Even made one for baby.  His is the 1st one with the googly eyes.

 

We or should I say my sisters were in charge of making the yummy Mummies, I'm in charge of adding the eyes!!  Well someone wasn't keeping time....we'll just blame my brother for that one.  They were still delish because there were none leftover.

 

 

Here are the kiddos inside, hands washed, shirts off....why, I have no idea, lol!  But they were all excited and ready to make their own pizzas.

Words and Pics Wednesday!

Hello to all of you lovely readers that still follow along.   I took a small break from blogging.  I had to finish up the semester, which I finished with a super awesome (A) in the class!!  These last two semesters were very stressful.   But I did it!

I've also been sewing- working on some new stuff and also a little project that I'm doing for my niece.  She asked me to take her daughters crib bedding set and make it into something more "big girl".  Her room will still be the same theme, sooooo I'm just trying to figure out what I should make.  I'm sure I'll come up with something.

Well since it's Wednesday I'm sharing some pictures off of my Instagram.

This is theHubs grilling for us on Sunday, we had a great Memorial Day weekend!

What a great Memorial weekend to have some of my nieces and nephews over for some fun in the shade....lol!!  The sun was hiding on Saturday!

Okay, I live in TX and we have Buc-ee's and I love their banana/wafer pudding!!!! There I confessed it!

These are the fur-babes and they are always having staring contests!

 

Crawfish season is almost to an end.....soooooo I am getting my fill whenever I can.  Which is usually every weekend and 1 day during the week!!  I'm the Crawfish Queen!

This is Stella and as you can see she isn't too thrilled to be taking a picture!!

 

My crazy family!!  We were having a crawfish boil out on our brand new patio.

 

I have the most amazing Hubs in the world!! He made us breakfast!

 

This is Ms. Betty and she LOOOOOVVEEESS ketchup.  Not any ketchup but the fancy ketchup from Whataburger!!  Yup she's crazy!

Happy New Year!

What a year!!  I can't believe that there are only a couple of hours left for this 2012 year.  I would like to wish everyone a safe, wonderful and prosperous new year.  

I am so happy and thankful for this amazing year that we had.  TheHubs and myself have been blessed beyond measure.   I have seen my family grow and be blessed and I pray for that to continue this coming year. I pray for growth in my family as in a baby....all prayers are welcomed.  I am grateful for this wonderful life that I get to share with my hubs, he is my heart and the love of my life.
