Knitting + being careful = big fail

Hey guys! Remember a couple of weeks ago when I was showing off my new fancy skill that I was learning and had a cute photo showing off the fancy skill....remember?
I guess this happens when you're a knitting newbie, huh!
As soon as I cut I screamed....Noooooooooooooooooo!

I can't believe that I did this. I was being super careful too....okay maybe I wasn't paying attention or something distracted me. Like grabbing the pair of scissors or making sure the ball of yarn was to my left...so when I got the scissors I would cut the string to my right.
Oh well...it's fixed! Now I can continue knitting the worlds longest scarf! lol!  At the rate I'm going it will be done by next winter and will be long enough to keep the hubs and myself super warm!

  2. I've tried knitting a few times, but apparently, the two needles thing messes me up too much! Guess I'm stuck sticking with crochet, lol.

  3. I started knitting a few years ago and I liked it, but when I discovered circular knitting, then I REALLY got to LOVE it. Something about knitting hats and bucket bags in the round just makes my heart sing.

I live in the tropics, so I don't think I'll be trying a scarf any time soon. :D)
