Ok, I'm Back!!

I am back from the evil clutches of "TheFlu", okay maybe it still has like one claw still on me!!  This cough is no joke!   Being sick for the past hundred days, really it was only 7 but it truly sucked and felt much longer!  Honey and I were both out sick and stuck in bed!  I can't believe how quickly it spread to him, I got it Sat. then he got it Sun. really bad.  
I just want to thank the heavens for meds.  Thank you to NyQuil, Dayquil and Halls....I may have damaged my liver but I feel soooooo much better...lol!! Oh yeah....with all this science and the never ending discoveries...why can't NyQuil taste like soda or maybe candy?  I mean I know I'm not the only one that ever thinks that, right?

While being sick and stuck in bed I was able to do some reading..... I'm a sucker for paranormal and fantasy so these are the books I read.

BLAH, BLAH, BLAH!!!

Ok, so I have officially neglected this blog....shame, shame, shame on me!!   I've had so much to write about, but I have been so busy.  Now if I write, it will be like sooooo 2000late!! lol!  So I'll just start a new post with some current events that I got going on or see on the news that are interesting to me!!

I've been slacking!

I think I've been suffering from a case of ADD!!  I can't seem to keep it together lately.....work and stuff related with school is driving me nutz!!  Ok, the program that I'm working towards only accepts 15 applicants per year.....out of 80!!  This is really , really frustrating!!  Then I have to do volunteer work, and they would prefer that you follow someone around that is in that particular field.....yes, like someone will allow a person that is trying for that degree to follow them around.  No, not that easy!  So I'm now calling nursing homes so that I can get some volunteer hours in!! Which by all means I don't mind at all! I know how hard it is for some elderly people to get around or do daily things.   Sorry, just venting!!
